Rule 1 Sports Player's of the Month- March 2021

At Rule 1 Sports we focus on the success of our athletes. As part of our new series we are proud to recognize this month’s best on and off the ice. Congratulations to goaltender William Pinney , defenseman Nick Goldie and Graham Padgitt, forwards Leo Renlund, Kowin Belsterling and Michael Mumm, for a successful March of hockey play.

In March, these players brought high intensity, work ethic, leadership, and elite talent to their respective clubs. Rule 1 Sports is proud of our athletes and their determination in playing the game they love and we congratulate them on achieving the Rule 1 Sports Team of the Month for March.

William Pinney is a 2001 born Goalie from St. Louis Park, MN. Will started this season with the St. Cloud Blizzard in the NAHL. Will currently plays for the Willmar Warhawks in the NA3HL where he has registered a .912 SVS% this season. We expect Will to find his way back up to Tier 2 by next season.

Nick Goldie is a 2003 Defenseman who currently plays for St. Clair Shores Unified where he has registered 15 points in 12 games played. For the month of March he registered 7 points in 6 games played. We expect Nick to be an impact player in Junior hockey next season.

Graham Padgitt is a 2002 born defenseman from St. Charles, IL. Graham played this season with the Utica Jr. Comets in the NCDC. In playoffs as a D, Graham registered 3 points in 2 games played and was an impact player in the lineup. We expect Graham to step in and have a huge role in tier 2 junior hockey next season.

Leo Renlund is a 2002 born Forward from Verona, Wisconsin. Leo played this season with Verona Area High School and Team Wisconsin U18 AAA. Leo is a hard working forward that helps his team by being a very consistent depth guy. Leo is willing to do whatever it takes to be his best by making sure he is in the gym and on the ice every single day. Leo registered 23 point in 14 games this season for Verona Area High School.

Michael Mumm is a 2003 born forward from Livingston, New Jersey. Michael played this season for the New Jersey Rockets U18 AAA program and for the month of March he registered 3 points in 4 games played. Michael is a hard working, skilled forward with the drive and passion to find his way into tier 2 junior hockey.

Kowin Belsterling is a 2004 born Forward from Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. Kowin currently plays for the Cleveland Barons 16U AAA program. In the month of March Kowin registered 4 points in 3 games played. Kowin also played with a Pittsburgh Tournament team in a super series event where he registered 8 points in 4 games played. We expect Kowin to draw the eyes of a ton of scouts at the tier 1 and tier 2 junior level this summer.
