Rule 1 Sports Player Of The Month- February 2021

At Rule 1 Sports we focus on the success of our athletes. As part of our new series we are proud to recognize this month’s best on and off the ice. Congratulations to goaltender Kyle McNair , defenseman Joe Blair and Noah Pickart, forwards Shane Murphy, Patrick Schmiedlin and Tyler Chenevert, for a successful February of hockey play.

In February, these players brought high intensity, work ethic, leadership, and elite talent to their respective clubs. Rule 1 Sports is proud of our athletes and their determination in playing the game they love and we congratulate them on achieving the Rule 1 Sports Team of the Month for February.

Kyle McNair is a 2000 Born Goalie who currently plays for the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings. Kyle recently just committed to play NCAA D3 college hockey at Lawrence University. In the month of February, Kyle had 6 wins and 1 loss helping lead his team to a Division Championship. Kyle currently has a .914 SVS%.

Joe Blair is a hard working defenseman who is currently a 2002 Birth Year. Joe plays for the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings in the USPHL Premier, in the month of February Joe recorded 5 points in 11 games played and helped guide his team to winning a Division Championship.

Noah Pickart is a 2002 Defenseman who currently just won a Wisconsin State Championship with his High School Team Fond Du Lac Springs. In the playoffs, Noah recorded 6 points in 4 games played for the month of February.

Shane Murphy is the Captain if the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks in the NAHL. For the month of February, Shane registered 11 Points in 13 games played and is starting to gain a ton of interests from NCAA programs across the country. Shane is a natural leader on and off the ice and we are very excited to see how the rest of the season goes for Shane.

Patrick Schmiedlin currently plays for the Main Nordiques in the NAHL. Patrick has been working every single week with our video coach and his stats surely prove that. In 8 games played for the month of February, Patrick recorded 8 points, 5 goals and 3 assists.

Tyler Chenevert is a 2003 Birth Year who has been currently playing for an expansion team called the River Rats. Tyler was named the Captain of his team and in the month of February,Tyler registered 17 points in 10 games played. Tyler is currently drawing a ton of interest from NCAA D1 schools and USHL/NAHL teams across the country.
